The 2nd Annual European Conference on Medical Devices and Diagnostic Cybersecurity (TT CS) held in Brussels, Belgium was a success as software and cybersecurity experts from all across Europe and North America were in attendance.
The event which spanned from the 17th-18th of May 2022, addressed challenges in software development and the increasing intensity of cyberattacks in the healthcare industry as devices have become more connected to the internet, hospital networks and other devices. The leadership-focused conference, designed to bring together cybersecurity experts from medical device manufacturers and health delivery organizations under one roof, achieved its goal as innovative ideas were exchanged between counterpart companies addressing the best practices for improving device security, protecting patients, mitigating cybersecurity risk and ensuring compliance.

The D.med Software team which was well represented by Alessandro Vitiello, Alejandro Torres Molina and Luis M. Barrios, anchored the round table discussion amongst industry experts on the topic, ‘Accelerating Software Updates While Continuously Ensuring Product Performance’.
