Communication Board Development For Dialysis Machine

Customer Needs

  • Develop a completely new communication board for a dialysis machine device which allows the device to expose data over the network.
  • Bidirectional communication between the device and a central DB system to exchange treatment and patient information.
  • Identification of the patient via patient card.

D.med Software Approach

  • Design a custom PCB which contains the necessaries interface (RS485, J45 and card reader) to handle the requirements of the customer.
  • Design an embedded system using an RTOS which is able to handle the data in real time.
  • Handle the input and output information flow between the dialysis machine, external network and patient card.
  • Validation and Verification of software and custom PCB.
  • Manufacturing and production of the custom PCB.
